What’s Your Theme?

By this time of the year most people have usually considered, possibly made, and likely broken new year’s resolutions.

I’ve never been a fan of them beyond setting the intention that the new year will be better than the one before.

And then I discovered choosing a theme or word for each new year.

So far, I have done:

LOVE
EXPANSION
CONNECTION
IMPACT
CREATION
EXPONENTIAL GROWTH

My theme for last year was COMPLETION.

Being prone to ADD I start loads of things but struggle to see them through. The buzz of shiny new things is too tempting for this squirrel chaser!

I wish I could say that I nailed it, but I didn’t.

Sitting in silence for an hour at a time was a good win though.

The main thing I had in mind for the theme was to complete and publish my second book, which at the time I was almost a year into.

I made some great progress on it. It also felt like a massive pressure and impacted my focus on my business.

It got to the point where my cashflow had taken too big a hit and I needed to park the book for a while.

Letting that go has given me renewed focus and enthusiasm for my business.

It is ok to let go of something that is weighing you down.

It’s not failure, it’s lightening the load so you can move forward faster with things that call to you.

Looking to the year ahead:

Through recent meditations, the theme that calls me for the year ahead is SERVICE.

I’ve realised that I have kept to myself far too much the past few years and that I’ve only had the chance to impact the audiences of the organisations and podcasts I’ve spoken for.

From here on I’m looking forward to running more events, in person and online, that anyone can come to. I recently did the first one – “Make This Year Your Best Year Yet” and the feedback was fantastic.

I’m also preparing to launch “Academy of Resilience Inner Circle”, a membership where you’ll get weekly calls with me as well as regular workshops, all conveniently available online for you to access at any time.

There are a limited number of lifetime memberships available for less than the cost of 3 months access.

Let me know if you’d like the details to get one of the last ones before it launches and goes to monthly payments. The lifetime offer is half what you’d pay for one 1:1 call with me so be quick.

Personally, I’m looking forward to:

✅ Working hard on my health, fitness, and flexibility to push myself physically to see what is possible with this 32 years post injury body of mine.

✅ Nurturing my relationship with my boyfriend, and with my closest friends and family.

✅ Speaking with more international audiences without leaving my apartment.

✅ Immersing further in music, especially improving my singing.

✅ Getting back into my next book.

✅ Working on my personal and professional growth to be of better service to the growth of others.

Over to you now.

What’s your theme for 2023?

Comment and let me know.

Be your best,

Stacey
